HealthWrite Training Academy sponsored a sock and glove drive in December 2022 in remembrance of Barbara Turner RN, Board of Directors Member.

Ms. Turner was an advocate for promoting quality care for the residents of Washington DC with mental health challenges.

HealthWrite donated the socks and gloves to TNN, a company supporting DC residents with Substance Abuse Challenges.

In August 2018, HealthWrite Training Academy lost a pioneer /Board of Director’s member with the untimely death of Barbara A. Turner, RN. Along with her activities on the HealthWrite Board, Ms. Turner assisted in instruction and mentoring of the CNA and HHA students. Her kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all.

This site is dedicated to one of our founders – William B Winchester, who died in January 2016. Mr. Winchester was a colleague and friend who supported HealthWrite in every aspect. He was instrumental in the start of the company and was our greatest advocate – He is missed.
